RCSS Liason Office
Dear Pi Nong Tai (Shan)
We opened the RCSS liaison office in Germany with the aims of:
1. To raise the awareness of the current situation of Shan State people and the Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS) to the Government of Germany and its people.
2. To cooperate with the German Government in attempts of solving the political conflicts in Myanmar and to build a future federal county.
3. To lobby and raise the international awareness on the current situation that Shan State people is facing and to have a better networking among the EU countries.
Therefore, Shan patriots should give Nicolas Ganz an opportunity to work and support him with the needed information.
Even the RCSS is not elected by the people through the general election but emerges from the hearts of the people. In addition to that, people are welcomed to join hands in this fight. Besides, your beloved sons and daughters are joining hands with other patriots who are shouldering the responsibilities on behalf of Shan State people. We should bear in mind that RCSS is a temporary set up organization, but RCSS s devoting itself to standing off against the Burmese Army from any angle of pressure and with a will of expelling the Burmese troops out of Shan State and be able to form a real federal country.
Again, we plan to open more RCSS liaison offices in other targeted countries and people will be informed after opening it. At the same time, we aware of the danger of opening the liaison offices in other countries as our opponents will try every means to destroy and disable it. RCSS has a clear policy in regards of enemies and friends, therefore, the ones who tried and try to destroy our struggle are our enemies.
In December 2008, RCSS will hold a meeting and will invite and welcome all the Shan organizations and local Shan representatives for participation.
Thank you.
Sao Yawd Serk
Chairman of Restoration Council of Shan State
